Welcome to the Utahian way of life

SOOOOO, more visitors have just arrived in Park City... yesterday.
They are pretty cool people I must say.
One is a professional moose hunter.
Yes, we saw lots of moose poop today.
But no moose.

The other is a BFFL.
Pronounced Biffle.
Don't ask me why.
She is pretty fly.
Wish I could have seen her give skiing a try.

So, without further delay...
I give you...

For those of yall who do not know who these oh so fine people are.
You are missing out on life.
I give you Heather and Ryan.
Might I mention that Heather is wearing a Western throw or something of the sort.

Love me some Zimmer person.

Check out this sweet giveaway

My sweet sweet camp friend Kelsie just celebrated her birfday.

Yup, there she is.  She is pretty much a bad A.  Anywho, if you do not follow her blog, you should.  I think the majority of people who read mine (all of my 6 readers) are camp peeps, so you probably already follow her.

Kelsie is having a giveaway for her birfday.  Here is the link.  You can also follow her blog through this link as well.

HAPPY BIRFDAY KELSIE!  My the force be with you this next year.

P.S. she also just got engaged!!

Bears and me

Hello everyone, so work ended Sunday.  Along with that, began the mass exodus of people out of Park City.  First it was Jessie, now it is about everyone else.  It is a very bittersweet feeling.  I must say though that I have slept the ENTIRE day today.  Woke up at 11:00 in Salt Lake.  Somehow the dogs let me sleep that long.  Then Brian and I drove to get some greasy fast food that consisted of cheeseburgers, rings, and milkshakes (we have vowed to start eating healthy), he dropped me off at home (around like 2), and I have slept since then (it is currently 5:00).  I guess that bears and I share something in common... we both enter into hibernation.

Park City, UT

Some people think that ski towns are all about the party... and to some extent, I do agree.  Others say it is all about the skiing... and to some extent (in Park City), I do agree (other places are more about the skiing). Others think that living in a ski town means a permanent vacation... that is where we start to differ on opinions.  Live my life.  It's no vacation.  But, I can tell you, I am happy to be alive, living, experiencing new things, seeing moose, working hard, making some money, living the dream, and being outside almost every day.  The air is fresher here for sure.  Park City, UT has been about the people that you meet.  Some are quirky, hilarious, out of it... basically any adjective would describe someone here.  Park City has been about people that we have met.  I want to share a couple of videos just because I think they are hilarious.  They are probably not hilarious unless you know the people. But, these are my friends.  And I am proud to claim them.

(This is Mickey... he is maybe the funniest person I know, the other two people who hop on stage with him are Sara Jo (who i found out today that her family Easter tradition was to shoot their decorated easter eggs that her dad would throw in the air, she is from New York and should be from the South) and Dan.

VIDEO
(it won't let me upload it directly to the blog :()

This next video is at a Jimmy Curry show at the Spur.  Jimmy has a band with his brother and cousin.  They are pretty amazing.  Here is a link to one of their original songs.  The main singer in this is his brother Tommy.  You should scroll down and read what people have written.  Reminds me of a Mr. Connell.  Now, the video above is some of Jimmy's good friends jamming out.  The guy dancing is famous in Park City for playing an air fiddle when Jimmy sings Wagon Wheel.

What I need in Kansas

So for everyone who does not know, I am moving to Kansas in the end of may to graduate school and boy am I going to be lonely. I am currently babysitting and have realized this is what I need. A good book and a kitty to cuddle with me because I am going to be oh so lonely on those stormy Kansas nights without my pupsters or man to keep me company.
